As healing progresses, postoperative therapy can provide another level of support. Our team offers surgeon-aligned lymphatic drainage, red light therapy, scar and soft-tissue care, compression assessment, and patient education according to your procedure, stage of healing, and your surgeon's instructions.
You can use overnight recovery or postoperative therapy independently, or continue from one into the other. In either case, your surgeon's plan comes first.

David Boudreault, MD, FACS, serves as Medical Director of InHands, bringing a board-certified plastic surgeon's perspective to the postoperative environment. He provides medical oversight and protocol review that help guide our clinical standards, safety procedures, and approach to postoperative care.
For patients referred by other surgeons, the operating surgeon remains in charge of the surgical plan. Our team works within that surgeon's instructions and communicates appropriately when questions or unexpected concerns arise.
No two operations create exactly the same recovery. Mobility restrictions, swelling, incisions, drains, compression, and activity guidelines can vary by procedure and by surgeon.
That is why InHands does not approach postoperative recovery as a generic menu of services. We consider your procedure, stage of healing, and surgeon's instructions when determining what support is appropriate.
Your surgeon's plan remains at the center of your care. Before surgery, we can help you prepare for the practical realities of recovery. After surgery, our team can provide overnight nursing and other recovery support, followed by postoperative therapy as appropriate.
You can use individual InHands services or combine them into a more coordinated recovery plan based on your needs.

IV therapy may be incorporated into postoperative care when clinically appropriate. At InHands, IV services are provided in a medically supervised setting and can support hydration and the administration of medications or other therapies ordered as part of your care. Because needs vary by procedure, medical history, and stage of recovery, IV therapy is not treated as a one-size-fits-all service. Our clinical team determines what is appropriate for each patient while keeping your surgeon’s postoperative plan at the center of your care.
